PADDINGTON VILLAGE
Paddington Village is a £1bn flagship development site at the eastern gateway to Liverpool’s thriving Innovation District, KQ Liverpool. Owned by Liverpool City Council, Paddington is an urban village that has Science, Tech, Education and Health within its DNA. With places to work, live, stay, eat and socialise, Paddington is being developed in three phases, with the first phase, Paddington Central, already well underway.
Paddington Central began to rise from ground back in 2017 and is now proudly home to The University of Liverpool International College, The Rutherford Cancer Centre North West, a brand new Multi-Storey car park and, last but certainly not least, The Spine.
A brand new Novotel hotel is also nearing completion and plans for the remaining three plots are advancing at pace, with a brand new residential development and futuristic office building HEMISPHERE next in line.
At the centre of all of this will be an expansive public square, complete with trees, biophilia, street furniture and numerous places for people to relax and enjoy the Liverpudlian sunshine. It will also double up as an events space, for anything from farmers markets to concerts, with all of the required infrastructure in place to turn any occasion into a real ‘moment’.

Sitting proudly at the corner of Paddington Village, Liverpool’s new flagship building, The Spine, demonstrates our ambition to make KQ Liverpool a world-leading innovation district.
HEMISPHERE
Boasting the central position on Paddington Village, HEMISPHERE will be a new, 7-storey, standout-out 120,000 sq ft building.
NOVOTEL PADDINGTON VILLAGE
When completed in July 2022, the elegant Novotel will be one of the tallest hotels in Liverpool and will become a beacon for Paddington Village and KQ Liverpool.
LIVERPOOL INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE
The University of Liverpool International College recruits and prepares international students for entry into the University of Liverpool’s degree programmes.
RUTHERFORD CANCER CENTRE
The Rutherford Cancer Centre North West opened in July 2020 and is one of four Rutherford Cancer Centres offering a comprehensive range of the latest technology in cancer treatments across the UK.
PADDINGTON VILLAGE CAR PARK
Opening in February 2022, the new 1,250 space multi-storey car park will not only service Paddington Village but will also meet the demand for parking across the wider Knowledge Quarter Innovation District.
