From illustrated books and fun workshops for younger pupils, to workplace visits and paid internships for teenagers, our free programmes help students connect the dots between school, skills and their future careers.

Our CPD sessions are designed to support those guiding young people’s futures by giving them real insights into the region’s careers landscape.
Co-developed by KQ Liverpool and the Liverpool City Region Careers Hub, each session covers the careers topics schools don’t always have time to teach.
KQ Futures
With the power of KQ Futures, we help young people imagine what’s possible, meet inspiring role models within Liverpool’s innovation district, and take their first steps into the world of work.
KQ Futures is part-funded via the Liverpool City Region Innovation Zone, part of the Government’s Investment Zone programme across England.
Career Insights
Our large-scale event for Year 7–9 students, introducing them to real employers through hands-on activities that build skills and spark ambition.
Future Innovators
Site visits for Year 10–13 students, giving them behind-the-scenes access to local innovation hubs and real insights into future career paths.
KQ Interns
A three-week summer placement for students aged 16+, offering real work experience in Liverpool businesses to build skills and confidence.

We Bring Innovation to Primary Schools
The Animates is a children’s book which aims to introduce the concept of innovation in Liverpool City Region to local primary school age students.
The book is supported by a lesson plan and we are currently touring a roadshow that is being delivered in schools.
