Kickstart Your Career with Real-World Experience

Welcome to KQ Interns, our exciting paid internship programme, designed for anyone aged 16 and over in the Liverpool City Region.

KQ Interns offers you the chance to gain hands-on work experience, develop essential skills, and connect with leading businesses and industry experts at the heart of Liverpool’s world-class innovation district.

APPLYING IS REALLY EASY

No qualifications or past experience is needed, we just want you to have an enthusiastic and determined attitude!

  • Simply download an application form here

  • We’d also love you to send us a creative introduction. This can be in any format, including a video, poster, slides or even a TikTok. Let your creativity run wild! This will help us to learn a bit more about you, why you’d like to take part in our internship programme, and what you hope to get out of the experience.

  • Then send your completed application form, along with your creative introduction, via email to: codi@kqliverpool.co.uk
    by midnight on 1st May 2026.

Please note: Applications sent in without an accompanying creative introduction will not be considered. Unfortunately due to the anticipated number of applications, we will not be able to provide individual feedback for unsuccessful candidates.

    Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th,
    Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th,

Gain Real Experience

Successful applicants will join the three-week paid internship, working with leading businesses and organisations in Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter.

Here are some more key details about our KQ Interns programme:

Activities: Interns develop employability and workplace skills, practice interviews and applications, work on an independent research project set by a business, and present their findings at the end of the programme.

Application: Applicants should complete a form and submit a creative personal application - which can be anything from a video, document, poster, presentation, or TikTok - explaining their interests and what they hope to gain from the programme.
