Welcome to KQ Interns, our exciting paid internship programme,
designed for anyone aged 16 and over in the Liverpool City Region.

KQ Interns offers you the chance to gain hands-on work experience,
develop essential skills, and connect with leading businesses and industry experts at the heart of Liverpool’s world-class innovation district.

KQ Futures has given me an insight into the opportunities near me in the LCR. I have gained exposure to a variety of businesses across many sectors, and learned about how they operate and the different roles within the business.

KQ Interns 2026

Here are the key details about our KQ Interns programme:

Activities: Interns develop employability and workplace skills, practice interviews and applications, work on an independent research project set by a business, and present their findings at the end of the programme.

Application: Applicants complete a form and submit a creative personal application (video, document, poster, presentation, or TikTok) explaining their interests and what they hope to gain from the programme.
