KQ Liverpool seeks charity partners for its major fundraising campaign in 2026
KQ Liverpool seeks charity partners for its major fundraising campaign in 2026.
Prospective charity partners urged to come forward, now that applications have opened.
Knowledge Quarter Liverpool is on the lookout for local charity partners to benefit from its epic charity fundraising plans for next year, to coincide with the organisation’s 10th anniversary.
Building on the success of this year’s LCR In a Day campaign, which saw CEO Colin Sinclair run a double-marathon across all six boroughs within Liverpool City Region and raise nearly £17,000 (including gift aid) to support local young people and children, Colin and members of the team will undertake a new charity challenge in 2026, which will be even bigger and better than this year’s campaign.
The organisation is now inviting Liverpool City Region-based charities which support children and young people, to come forward and apply to be involved with next year’s campaign, which will be supported by other fundraising activities throughout the year.
Colin Sinclair, chief executive of KQ Liverpool, said:
“KQ Liverpool has a long-held and clear commitment to raising aspirations in local young people. This can be seen through our KQ Futures programme, supported by LCR Innovation Zone funding, which regularly brings members of our team together with students and staff at schools and colleges from every corner of the city region, and we know that this support is really needed to help young people broaden their future horizons. It’s a personal mission of mine to give every child and young person the best start in life.
“This year we collectively raised an incredible amount, not only through the run itself, but also via a quiz night, sponsored silences, cycles, bake sales and wearing fancy dress for a week. In 2026, we want to raise the bar, and make an even greater impact in supporting the next generation.
“We are excited to hear directly from charities who feel they would like to work with us and hopefully get enormous financial and promotional benefits from being part of the campaign. Equally, if there are any businesses out there who would like to support our efforts, we would certainly like to hear from you too.”
KQ Liverpool is welcoming applications directly from local charities, but would like to encourage anyone who knows of a worthy recipient to spread the word, ensuring their preferred charity is aware of this opportunity, so they can put themselves forward.
The deadline for applications is midnight on Wednesday 31st December 2025.
