KQ Liverpool to host free Business Growth Exchange event, for start-ups and scale-ups

Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool), together with its KQ CLICK expert advisors, is hosting the Business Growth Exchange on Tuesday 2 June 2026, bringing together specialist advisers to offer practical guidance for businesses at critical stages of growth.

The event will take place at Sciontec’s CENTRAL TECH innovation centre (31 Russell Street, Liverpool, L3 5LJ), and is aimed at entrepreneurs, founders, freelancers, researchers and business leaders looking to commercialise ideas, build teams, attract investment and grow with confidence.

With a focus on knowledge sharing, the Business Growth Exchange is being delivered by KQ Liverpool and its KQ CLICK expert advisors: Barclays Eagle Labs, DTM Legal, Konsileo, Marks & Clerk, RSM and Typocom. Together, the group offers expertise spanning legal, insurance, investment, accounting, tax, branding and design, and intellectual property, giving attendees access to practical insight from a range of experienced professional advisers.

The workshop-style event will feature two distinct, tailored sessions focused on the different challenges and opportunities that early-stage and scaling businesses commonly face.

Rachel Newman, Inclusive Innovation Officer at KQ Liverpool said:

“Attendees will be able to gain practical advice on contracts, business compliance and regulatory issues, understand how to become more investor-ready from a policy and process perspective, and put questions directly to sector experts during an interactive Q&A session.

“The event also promises all attendees a take-home toolkit of resources to support businesses on their growth journey, long after the event has ended.”

The Business Growth Exchange is part of the Liverpool City Region (LCR) Innovation Investment Fortnight, an annual Combined Authority led showcase of the distinctive world-leading assets, partnership-driven approaches, and £2b investment opportunities that put the LCR at the forefront of UK place-based innovation.
